As an angler and having been born in Eastbourne, the Pier would not be the same without anglers fishing it. What would the new owner know about our UK piers and traditions as he is not 'from around these parts'.

Mr Gulzar with your gold roofed cars, haven't got enough money to make the pier safe for anglers? That's disgusting. As for the person who died, construction
Has sweet f.a to do with fishing. Completely different set of circumstances. Keep the tradition alive. Make the pier safe for gamblers, over priced hot dog eaters and earnest fisherman alike. Are you telling us that someone walking along your pier is at less risk than an angler? You gonna put reins on two year olds. Cosy up to your insurance company and make it all over safe.... Can you tell
Me how many anglers have died since Victorian times? Won't be visiting your over priced 'safety net' and cash cow with my local family
