Fished the pier at Eastbourne as a kid. Why would anyone want to stop people fishing here?

We've already lost the arcade from an insurance scam fire so we don't want to lost another tradition to eastbournes pier. KEEP IT FFS

Fishing from the end of the pier is a right of passage for many kids. One of my abiding memories is fishing with my dad at the end of the pier.

Fished there as a boy. Need to keep piers open for angling as they are a good starting place for youngsters.

Fishing on the Pier is part of Eastbourne..
I used to fish on there with my Dad when I was a little girl .
It Would be so sad to see the end of what is part of our lovely town
