Fishing from Eastbourne Pier is part of our Heritage in Eastbourne I was taken on the Pier by my Grandfather to fish like lots of other youngster where it was safe to fish so why should this so called Sheik destroy a great tradition linked to the Pier

Agree with other comments, non English people trying to change our country. Time to make a stand. Soon there will be no English traditions.

This is our heritage to pass down to the next generation. Something I did with my dad and grandad and want my kids to be able to share in our history. You could give the pier back it's glory please don't change too much. It's our pier as much as it is yours.

Planned to fish here during the next airbourne show. Have been looking forward to the chance to combine two if my favourite pastimes since I spotted others doing the same at this years show. Would be a great and senseless shame to stop such a traditional use of the pier.

To many places closing down to us angles need to stand our ground good for the petition
