I used to be a member of the fishing club on the pier and in my eyes it's the best thing on there !!!!!!

I learned to fish off the pier and caught my first fish there , I am now an accomplished angler who has fished in a semi professional basis all over the world , by stopping fishing on the pier not only is the new owner wrecking a perfectly good business but is also denying future generations the chance of learning to love the most popular sport in the world

I don't believe any decisions have been made regarding angling off the pier and Sheikh Abid Gulzar is listening to and exploring all options. Go and talk to him - his door is always open.

Please keep this facility for Eastbourne Anglers, even if you have to relocate the fishing to a different place on the peir, while you make the pier safe and sound, and start your boating area at the end of the pier. Thank you
