HRM FIRE SERVICES has decided to take the fire equipment we have left at station 53 ( Terence bay station) and close the doors of our beloved hall were we hold bingo's, baby showers, weddings, anniversary party's, card games every week. we need to come together as a community and demand that we be given the hall as a community so that it can be still ran and maintained and we ask that HRM fire give us a few months to work on this and get some income coming in this before closing our doors on us!
Thank you for your Time!
Seeing this sustain such momentum reminds me that our neighbors view station 53 as more than just a building. It is a shared space where we mark the central moments of our lives together. This progress serves as a quiet but firm signal that the heartbeat of our community remains strong.

Ridiculous decision. We used that space for cards every single Tuesday. Where are we supposed to go now?

This hall is the heart of Terence Bay. My parents had their anniversary party there and it would be a total shame to see it just sit empty and rotting. Keep it open for us!
