While I understand that the bridge needs work, I believe it is essential for the residents and people who work in Fallston. As someone who regularly walks to New Brighton, to patronize local business, I hope that the bridge will at least remain open to foot/bicycle traffic. It is not safe to walk to and from the new Veteran's Memorial Bridge.

This historic structure needs to be repaired. To waste tax payer money destroying it is political arrogance. Restoration is the right thing to do.

that bridge is historical, it was neglected by many officials in the past, when their was a bomb threat to the bridges in Beaver county that was one bridge open and it was full of cars took me forever to get to the station. i agree for the buisnesses and community that is a valuable escape route for any down that end of town.
