Get the bridge up to code and make sure it is safe for pedestrian and vehicle traffic!

The bridge needs to be brought up to code for foot and bicycle traffic at the very least. If you have a vehicle, it's definitely an inconvenience. However, it not nearly the same impact, and I can understand this bridge permanently being closed to motor vehicles.

Without the Fallston Bridge open there is NO SAFE pedestrian route for our school students to get to and from the school district Fallston is affiliated with. School age children walk home after school activities, there is no sidewalk access along Routes 51 or 65 to get to The Veteran's Bridge; even if there were the mileage is excessive.
