HI!
I live one block from the train track and don't mind the horns at all...barely hear them anymore!
BUT we have many small, dark crossings that would be dangerous without a audible warning.
Please keep the horns.
Sincerely,
Stephanie

My concerns: safety. Safety. Safety. I have lived in earshot of the train horns for 11 years. I like them. Do not implement a Quiet Zone.

I'm more interested in getting rid of the sleazy fast cash joints. I am new to east Nashville and enjoy the whistle if the train reminds the economy is alive and doing well

If we stop the horns, the homes in the previously affected area would be less affordable than when the horns were blaring. We need affordable housing, even if it comes with horns. Don't like it? But another house rather than paying below market value, getting rid of the horn, and thereby using tax dollars to increase your property value.

Of all the issues facing Nashville - poverty, insufficient infrastructure for growth, public health, skyrocketing housing costs - why are we even talking about train horns? Don't want to hear the train? Don't move near the tracks.

Seriously....I can't believe that we even have to do a petition for something that obviously is designed to keep us safe. Been in this neighborhood on & off since the 90's....Never heard complaints before....ugh

I love the sound of trains ever since I was a kid and to remove such a significant piece of Nashville history would be a great loss to the community

Train horns are a part of East Nashville. It just wouldn't be the same if that sound was gone. It evokes a strong sense of time and place and community. LOVE IT!!!!

Trains are part of what make East Nashville and Inglewood what they are. To lose the very heart of the trains, their signature whistles would be a travesty. #noquietzone
