We go to our great farmer’s market at this sight. It’s the perfect size for an event. Please don’t build there and make it look like the ugly waterfront on Shore Drive in Virginia Beach! Disgusting building plan!

Green space is incredibly important, as are local markets for both community and health. It's proven that eating local is better for your health and more sustainable. What Norfolk DOES NOT need is more condos or more box retail space. What this city DOES need is green space and local community.

Stop destroying the beautiful of our coastal areas with large and ugly town houses. The view is free let’s keep it that way stop gentrifying everything.

PLEASE DON'T! You've already overdeveloped this area. I moved out of East Beach because of the overdevelopment.

This green area is much needed as so much of East Beach is quickly being taken over by buildings. Leave it be!

This place is an institution. So sad that a compromise can be reached to make everyone happy.

Keep the space green. I have lived in this community since 2006 and was shown the original master plan which included lots of green space and a mini Annapolis. That has been eroded and now all we have to do is look around and see high density and no proper setbacks. Pretty Lake is a prime example. The result is not new urbanism but overdevelopment . This is not what was represented to residents who took a chance and trusted Norfolk and East Beach development. I love this neighborhood because of the residents. Norfolk and developers do the right thing here and keep it green.
