Not every open space needs homes or hotels built on it

This small patch of land has brought many people from other communities in the Hampton Roads area to attend the farmers market and to enjoy the community. The addition of more housing would have a negative impact on many.

We need to retain some green space, even as development continues. The community uses this space for neighborhood activities. We could do mu h more uf it remains a green space. Keep the triangle green!

When we first moved to East Beach in 2016, one of our favorite aspects of the neighborhood was the Farmer's Market, which we continue to enjoy! We have already lost our view of the marinas with the addition of yet another high rise, which blocks the corridor of 26th Bay (which was never supposed to happen). Now our beloved Farmer's Market will lose its most appropriate location. I humbly request that their space remain green space for the good of East Beach and Oceanview residents.

How does the beach stay public if the existing parking lot is eliminated? The green space should be a park.

would love to see this piece of NRHA’s original “green space” plan remain green!…it’s a perfect gathering place not only for EB residents but for all of us in OV…

Keep the triangle green, while making some green doing so. Farmers market. Craft fairs, bandsetc.

As President, Greater Pinewell Civic League, I want to strongly endorse this petition. A balanced community of green space, residential housing and commercial property makes for a stronger long term community.

Green spaces are so important when building new communities. Please leave some room for the people to congregate outside.

I have felt so frustrated by the dishonesty and greed of the developers! I am proud to sign in the hope that some shred of the promises made when I bought my home here might be kept.

Supportive, but this is a tiny issue relative to the catastrophic development of the harbor on Pretty Lake. Wish folks would’ve kept the city accountable as THOSE plans unfolded.
