I wish Jim Bob and Michelle had been my parents. How different (and better) my life would have been to grow up with parents who loved Jesus and obeyed his commandments.

the duggers live by christian values. we need more of this kind of programs. i do not hate gay people, i love them and pray for them. but i do hate the sin in their life

This family has done nothing to deserve this. I wish my family was like them. The point of this whole petition from the "haters" has nothing to do with the Duggar family. This has to do with a small group of people who do not want religion or faith in America any more. It is very sad to see each Cross and Major Seen, Ten Commandments, and any other object they feel is offensive. This is a small group. The frustrating thing about this movement is that we are all so busy with our owns lives we do not open our eyes to see what these poor people are accomplishing. In most cities’ you cannot have a manger scene, or any other religious object. This just isn't a Christian issue. This is an American issue. These small groups are succeeding because we who believe in Freedom of Speech, Liberty, & Justice, have not voiced our opinions. We watch with blinded eyes. See, in this country we use to accept each other’s privacy and rights, but this "New" wave of people are the only ones making noise. See, it’s like going to court. If only one side shows up the judge really has no choice but to allow the side that showed up what they are seeking. But if both sides show up, well then the Judge can weigh out the issues. If the majority doesn’t start showing up for court then we have no right to complain about it. Bottom Line: If you don't like the Ten Commandments - Don't read them. If you don't like religion, Don't participate in it. If you don’t like the American way of life – Leave! If you do not like the Duggar – Don’t Watch! The Majority of Americans are catering to a “very small minority” This really needs to stop. Political Correctness has done so much damage to this AWESOME Country. We are so worried about the small minority that we have lost what the MAJORITY grew up on. Jesus said to LOVE the Sinner, but not the Sin. We have to stop tearing each other apart. I love the Duggars' show and support the Christian view of traditional marriage. However, I do not hate gays or advocate any discrimination. As a retired teacher, I have seen the immense pain young people often deal with as they struggle with this issue. I hope we, as a society, can work to find some positive common ground.
I served my country from Vietnam to Desert Storm defending our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Article 1 Bill of Rights "freedom of speech." I'm tired of this countries political correctness garbage. People complain about nothing when for the most part our country and the world is in real bad shape. I,m in full support of the Duggars and what they believe, I may not agree all the time, but that's what this nation is all about. Quit crying people.

why is it that its ok for them to disagree with those who stand for God ordained marriages but its not ok to disagree with those who don't agree. smhhh. We as believers should stand up for what we believe just like they do.
