There's nothing wrong with raising a modest religious family

This is the part that bothers me - "No individual's sexual behavior and chosen lifestyle has the right to redefine marriage."
Chosen? What so-called "Christian" (playing it loose and funky with that word in this sentence) homosexual expert typed up THAT petition? Certainly not one with any real insight or knowledge. I work with several people who are gay, and it is NOT a choice. Sexual preference is as much of a "choice" as it is to breathe or not to breathe. You can't CHOOSE.
Just so very sad, comments like that. :( Whether or not God has deemed them not worthy by this silly "choice", it's not MY judgement to make, nor is it the Duggars, or anyone else's. Keep your nose in your own, worry about what's in your own backyard.
I consider myself Christian, and there are factions of Christians that embarrass me and make themselves look small and petty. If God made EVERYONE in His own image..ummm..well? Explain that one, holy rollers. Nevermind...you can't.

I thoroughly enjoy watching 19 kids & counting, we need more shows like this one that have strong christian values.

If we have to tolerate immoral ideas we disagree with, others should have to tolerate our ideas and beliefs as well. After all, freedom of speech applies to everyone, whether you want to hear what they have to say or not. If you choose to cancel this show for their beliefs, you better start cancelling all your shows that go against everything we as Christians believe. Otherwise you are all a bunch of hypocrites.

The Duggers are just doing what they believe is right. The Bible states that being gay is wrong and disgusting so they go with what the Bible says. However, this doesn't mean that God doesn't love you. God loves everyone unconditionally and gives you the choice to be who you want to be. You can choose Him and be saved or choose eternal death. Just believing and doing nothing doesn't save you in the least. Words are nothing without actions and vice versa. You must live a Holy life pleasing to God and that is exactly what the Duggars are doing. They are declaring their love and committment to God by showing what they believe in and not being afraid to let people know about it.Why is it that we care so much about what others think? The Constitution grants us the right to say what we want and belive what we want in the 1st Amendment in the Bill of Rights in the Constitution. We have absolutely no right to take that away. When a person comes out as gay they are applauded for their bravery and courage. When someone says they are against it, people automatically look down on them and spew vulgar words at them and forces them to apologize. You ask for tolerance but give us none. We don't believe in gay marriage but we don't write hate letters about it. We simply state the facts. However, if I were to say I was against gay marriage at a school or place of work, etc. I would be frowned upon and would be called an archive of names and would be argued with until I finally gave in. There is no tolerance for us. Stop forcing opinions down our throats stop calling us hypocrites because in reality you are the true hypocrite.

They aren't spreading hate and should be able to say what they believe. Stop trying to make people who are different from you stop talking because they are not supportive of what you choose.
