It's important to keep our history alive it's ridiculous to change it just because black people don't like what happened years before they were even born.. Leave American history alive and well where it deserves to be!

HAS NOTHING TO TOO WITH THE CIVIL WAR OR SLAVERY,,IS WANTTING TO TAKE DOWN ALL OF THE CONFEDERATE FLAGS AND TRY TO BURY NOT ONLY THE SOUTHERN HISTORY BUT, THE NATIONS....SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED A 150 YEARS AGO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH TODAY...ALL OF THE RADICALS ARE DOING IS GETTING THE POWER WAGON..WHEN IS THE SOUTH GOING TO STAND UP FOR OUR SOUTHERN HERITAGE, AND RIGHTS?????????

The flag is not a symbol of hate, or anti-government, but to the descents of the Confederate men that fought for what they believe in, Those who hold to the belief the war was fought over slavery need to read and follow the real history of the Civil War. I had 26 family members fought in the 19th Va. Cavalry CSA. PROUD

the flag is only part of history and should be left alone. if the flag and monuments from civil war has to go all the black monuments and street names of MLK and others should go to as this would be racist toward white people. the only way this flag is racist is by the one looking at it that way. I have family that died in the war and I will fly my flag with honor.

My great great grandfather fought in the Civil War. Taking down the Confederate Flag shows disrespect to ALL the soldiers that fought. We need to worry about what is happening in this country when a few can make the decisions for the majority. If we do not unite now and protect the Confederate Flag next they will be saying the American Flag is a symbol of hate. The Confederate Flag is a Southern battle flag and that is it. NO MORE!

Confedrate flag is not only history but Freedom of speech. many of us dont care for the rainbow flag, black hate gangster rap but I dont tell them what to wear or do nor take away their rights and sure as hell dont want them taking away my rights nor right to have a confederate flag

My great great grandfather fought in the Civil War and was a Confederate soldier and I'm proud to be from the Confederacy of the United States that once was. It's not a hate thing, it's a heritage and history thing. KEEP THE FLAG UP.
