I have a great uncle who was instrumental in getting this monument to Syracuse New York. It’s part of our Italian heritage. If they want to add to it that would b fine but please don’t take down our History.

We should never remove the statue of Christopher Columbus! He is part of history. If necessary add appropriate statues to tell history as it was representing all that have an accurate story to tell. Kevin

Our history and culture no matter how hurtful it was got us to where we are today. People fought and died for what they believed in and we learned from the errors that we made. We should not erase the history. We just need to move forward with love , forgiveness and grace and learn the lessons for permanent positive change.
