I respectfully support this as my grandparents came to this country as immigrants from Italy. I also respect anyone who has a peaceful view on this topic. I hope we can all come together and unite as a community.

A proud Italian-American and a Son of an Italian immigrant. Let those who feel guilty of the abuse to Native Americans deed their property to the Onondaga tribe.

Christopher Columbus was not a genteel man; he was a man that was tough enough and brave enough to cross the frontier that was the oceans. Christopher Columbus proved that the earth was not flat! Albert Einstein was also not a perfect man: his first child born out of wedlock actually starved to death because Mr. Einstein refused to care for his son. The baby starved to death. Shall we throw out the Laws of Relativity? OR, shall we acknowledge the good that a person achieves along with the harm as we measure a man's character from a different century and place on the globe? Update Columbus Circle but keep Christopher Columbus in the form of our beautiful statue.

History is there whether we acknowledge it or not. Please do not allow more destruction We must consider the intent when it was added. There was no purposeful intent to offend when it was erected.

My grandfather was a stone mason and he and other Italian immigrants helped to build this monument. My mom was so proud that her dad, she would tell us kids how her father helped build Columbus Circle....Please leave it be....it’s a part of our history and our heritage

Columbus died in 1506. If he is ruining your happiness or life, I will recommend a therapist for you. Shall we take down the Pyramids too! They started the slave trade businessz
