I oppose the closure of the Barham Blvd. exit. It will greatly impact my ability to leave & re-enter my property located at 2700 N. Cahuenga Blvd., East in Los Angeles.

Our complex of nearly 200 homes in Cahuenga Pass, near this ramp, was NEVER notified of this. As president of this Association (Cahuenga Hills Tennis Condominiums) for over 30 years, and one time Chair of the Cahuenga Pass notice of every other proposed change has been sent to me to give to our Homeowners for response. Not this. It almost seems as if we were purposefully ignored. Why should the rights of our Homeowners for easy access and egress to there homes be so flippently disregarded so that a private company can make more money?

i use it everday for its convenience just to get home. I would not be happy with it being closed.

So many people rely on this ramp, what are Universal doing, I'd say there's universal opposition to the closing of the ramp! Don't do it, it's going to be a disaster.

Corporate greed at work once again. I'm sure the motivation for Universal is to put a Southbound exit at Universal Center Drive to guide more traffic their way. I'm a local resident. The Cahuena Pass has few alternatives, particularly at rush hour or when there's an accident. How short-sided to cut off yet another exit on a freeway that's already congested a large portion of the day. I guess the thousands of local residents that will be impacted (Barham is the main vein into Burbank) didn't bribe the right Caltrains officials before the decision was made between them and Comcast. I hope this petition will make a difference.

They hid the closure in an Amendment to EIR, and called it closing the "Bennet Drive" offramp. Nobody calls it that! They never alerted the community (because they knew the community would revolt.) They want us to believe it's "too late, done deal." But, with enough of us up in arms the politicians will see the light and get on the right side of this. I am sure there is a solution--Comcast NBC Universal just doesn't want to pay more for it!

I am certain that I am not the only person who does not want to have to fight there way up Cahuenga in either direction just to get to a street to get to another street to get to my residence.Flooding our area with more traffic is absolutely fruitless and is not only thoughtless of Universal but negligent and not very well thought. If they weigh out the bad press that will likely continue as residents suffer I'm sure they will hire someone to come up with something more useful to all parties concerned.

This cannot happen!! I am a resident of the Hollywood Hills right above Valley View elementary school. Driving home is a nightmare as it is; I cannot imagine the congestion of needing to exit at Lankershim and struggle down Ventura/Cahuenga to get to my RESIDENCE. Please City of Los Angeles, do not let this happen! It will significantly and negatively impact the property owners in this area who pay RIDICULOUSLY HIGH property taxes to live in these Hills...

I strongly disagree with this decision to permanently close the Barham Ramp Exit. Traffic off the 101 is horrible as is. Cahuenga Exit is horrible already due to the traffic we get from the Hollywood Bowl.

Not only should the Barham ramp be left OPEN - but on and off ramps that were closed a few years ago just east of Barham between Highland and Barham should be REOPENED.
