The Barham off ramp on the Southbound 101 is important to local businesses. It provides my clientele convenient access to my office on Barham Blvd. Closing the off ramp would complicate travel routes, especially for those not very familiar with this area. I am not sure who would benefit from its closing, or how they would benefit, but it would be a detriment to many more.

This makes no sense and will lead to even more traffic and cut off residents who use the 101 to commute to work!

I have been reading all of the letters Universal and everything they were proposing with the new improvments and contstruction, there was no mention of this ramp clopsure. Shame on you Universal Studios and Caltrans, big mistake if this goes through!

I am in shock that closing this off ramp would ever be an option. I work in the valley and live off of lakeridge, I use this off ramp everyday as part of my life and having to exit at lankershim or Vineland would be completely inconvenient and and hurt my family time and quality of life significantly.

Universal and Caltrans should have to notify every resident in the affected area by mail multiple times, the same as if it was a request for a zoning variance. Then they must hold public meetings and genuinely consider the impact on all residents and businesses that will be impacted by such a radical change. . .

I have been a real estate agent selling in the area for 25+ years and that no Southbound off ramps on the 101 Hollywood Freeway between Lankershim Blvd and the Hollywood Bowl will have a detrimental effect on property values and traffic flow.

Keep Barham open --closing it will only increase more traffic jams and road rage--I live in Toluca Lake and it will be such a disaster--

I am moving from an area up behind the Hollywood Bowl to Lake Hollywood and use the Barham exit daily. Closing this exit will adversly affect many who live in the area not to mention business owners. This is a bad idea that needs to be reversed as it will have a terrible affect on so many people's lives who live in the area, own businesses in the area and come to the area. Universal should not be able to control the outcome.

I can't imagine the gridlock this will cause. I am all for positive growth but not to the determent of everyone else.
I'm a lakeridge estates resident, and anything we can do to keep the ramp open I'm in!
I USE THE RAMP 6 DAYS A WEEK
