Closing this off ramp is a big mistake as it will create even more traffic around Universal Citywalk

Forcing drivers to into Hollywood Bowl traffic is a nightmare that must be stopped!

I use this ramp every day...having to get off at Lankershim will put me in a long line of traffic feeding out of Universal. This is going to be a nightmare when Potter opens. CalTrans and Universal ...think about the residents and neighbors...not just the tourists. And when are we the community going to get to "see" "approve" the height of HogWarts? Just how far above the horizon will it intrude into our pristine views?

I use this ramp 5 days per week. I see rush hour traffic on Ventura Blvd/Cahuenga every morning. I don't want to get caught up in it.

Why can't there be two off-ramsp: one for Universal and the Barham off for the local residents who use it.

From what I read online, CALTRANS has decided that the Barham offramp will be closed. The onramp will stay open. This is riduculous. If anything, they should close the onramp and widen the offramp. There are plenty of places to get on the freeway, but anyone living in the hills or going to Burbank will be severly impacted. We need to do something NOW.

Barham traffic, residents of Lake Hollywood and Warner Bros employees should not be forced to exit at Lakershim Blvd or Highland / Hollywood Bowl ! A thorough and complete enviornmental impact study needs to be done. The Lankershim exit cannont handle all of this traffic. NBC Universal needs to be considerate when doing expansion and not run rough shot over its neighborhood. No way should this off ramp be closed leaving 2 miles between exits.

Residents like me need this ramp. Lankershim is too crowded, slow and far away. Cahuenga boulevard will become gridlock hell.

This is a great travesty. I use those ramps from Hollywood and back into Hollywood and West Hollywood. This will simply overcrowd the other ramps! DONT DO THIS, PLEASE!!!!!!

I use this ramp regularly. Its closure will make the Barahm/Cahuenga intersection even more of a nightmare than it already is!

That whole stretch of the 101 through the Cahuenga Pass is thoroughly obsolete. But closing the Barham off ramp will make a bad situation much worse. An increase in lost man-hours, more road rage, all for the benefit of a corporation. Such is the state of American Exceptionalism nowadays. Lots of exceptions, mostly not for us.

I use this off ramp at least twice a day. Cahuenga Blvd will become a parking lot if this off ramp is closed.

If this is the best plan Universal can come up with perhaps it's time for a new realestate officer. Universal has been thoughtlessly heaping vehicles onto Cahuenga for far too long when they simply could have directed traffic to the lighter flow area down toward Lankershim. The Barham / Cahuenga corner is already one of the worst bottle necks in Los Angeles because of the mountains on either side. NO GOOD CAN COME OF THIS. I was reading an article that said residents are withdrawing their initial support wjich is UNTRUE. Universal also took the large sign down that said BARHAM on the 101 prior to the commencement of this non-sense labeling it the BENNETT RAMP. CONCEILING,DECEIVING AND MISLEADING PEOPLE that heard of this. The whole deal SMELLS. And for what/ What are the stakes? More money for Universal. More power to them but I don't want to be sitting in traffic grinding my teeth in my car as I pay a daily price for the greed. Sure.....We may be a small number of humans to Universal but I mean come on!!! No one here that understands the stakes wants this closure!!!
