If the city was worried about ramps running into ramps perhaps they can fix the "new" 405 North exit at Wilshire which now causes backup and accidents to norht onramp from Santa Monica.

As a resident of the Hollywood Knolls, I use this ramp every single day, for commutes as well as getting in and out of our neighborhood. Losing this ramp would add 10-20 minutes to every drive. And the idea that there are easier more efficient ways to access Universal Studios from the 101 South is ludicrous. Anyone wanting to do this would have to make two left turns, further stalling traffic on Ventura and Lankersheim. If NBC/Universal continues forward with it's plans to cripple those that closest in the community, they should expect a backlash that is far reaching.

This is Absurd. The traffic on Highland/ Cahuenga Blvd. West is already at fever pitch. This is a hoirrible oversight meant to benefit Universal Studios and Tourists, inconveniencing inumerable tax-paying residents. This must be stopped!

No way this ramp can not close. That part of the freeway is bad enough with the Hollywood Bowl traffic backing up Highland. Take away Barham and you create a traffic mess for every one.

I live on Barham and NEED this ramp both to leave the Cahuenga Pass to get to Hollywood (especially when the Hollywood Bowl is in season) and to get home from the San Fernando Valley. Closing this ramp will create a greater clog of cars on both the 101 and Cahuenga.

I read every piece of literature NBC/Universal sent about the expansion, and I never saw anything about the closure of Barham. I get the sense this was deliberately concealed to avoid public opposition.

It is unconscionable that Universal is expanding and thereby wreaking further havoc in our neighborhood. Stop the madness and keep the Barham ramp open. We LIVE here and Universal's expansion is adversely affecting the quality of that life.
