We need to keep our faith based schools open and available to those who want this important option for their children.

Please keep the school open! We need to have choices for our children. This school provides quality education and has a stellar reputation. Don't take this amazing school away from our children.

As a grandparent of 3 OLP students I am extremely disappointed that the last girl, who is currently in 3rd grade, will not be able to continue in the school.

Are we Christians?
Or are we only Catholics?

As a graduate of the school, Class of 1998, I was deeply saddened and shocked by this. My four older siblings and then my niece also received an excellent education at the school. My mother taught there for 21 years.
So I have experienced, witnessed, and heard about the community . . . no the FAMILY that is AOLP. The teachers are able to really get to know their students and instill in them the values of our Catholic faith. Catholic grammar schools are the foundation for future generations of Catholics and yet the diocese has decided to close this wonderful school.
This is a bad decision and one the church will come to regret. There are so many bad influences in this world that our young people see and encounter, a fact that the Church itself has preached about, yet here they are taking away a pivotal institution that would instill the principles Jesus taught. Please reconsider your decision!
Our Lady of Peace pray for us!

Devastating news. I was a student at AOLP for 11 years. This school shaped me into the young woman I am today. It’s heartbreaking to see that such a great school is being shut down. The diocese is making a huge mistake doing this, and I really hope they can reconsider. The faculty and staff at this school are some of the most hardworking, dedicated people out there and care so much about their students. AOLP is a wonderful school that has brought me so many great memories and I, alongside others, feel this is a huge mistake.

Both of my children went through OLP com k to 8 th grade before it became the academy. The education they received from the teachers was amazing and they have gone on to be very successful and spiritual Catholic women

I have been a consistent supporter for more than 25 years. This really needs to be reconsidered.
