If Holley went to this school, I question their effectiveness after seeing her understanding of the word "literally".

"...a school that was honored by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon Exemplary High Performing school just 2 years ago." Literally, a mic drop.

OLP is a pillar of the New Providence Community and its presence fosters everything that a Catholic school positively provides on all levels, but is also a presence that assists sustain the vitality of the OLP Church parish.

The future of the Church rests with our children. Catholic education is critical to insuring a Catholic future. Catholic morality and ethics are essential to our community and Country. While operational funds are essential for the school, a short sighted focus on money should not be the sole determinant of whether the school remains open.

Please keep this excellent school open. With the changes coming in our society, Catholic schools may become more popular in the coming years. We should do what we can to keep the academy open through this period.

My heart breaks for this community. With all that we as Americans face today, our Catholic community should be one we can turn to in time of need. This insensitive action does not represent Christian values, that are being tested and disregarded at an alarming rate. I implore the Archdiocese to reconsider!

Whoever made this decision should have their head(s) examined. Closing a highly rated exemplary blue ribbon school? During this pandemic? While we have no chance to dialogue? You are like a wolf lurking in the night. I hope you have trouble sleeping at night with your decision. How can you even look at yourself in the mirror? Shame on you!
