its 2015. children are more accepting than their own parents generally. i believe exposing children to LGBT+ relationships lessen ignorance of these younger generations and will eventually open up more acceptance..not "OOHHH THIS IS GOING TO MAKE MY KID GAY!!!!" like what parents claim. CN has been taking steps to integrate these relationships and it's just wrong to censor them.

I agree 100% How many shows have gay canon characters? Not that many. Also the fact that this is a kids show, should tell kids that it's okay to be gay.

steven universe is such a positive and heart warming show. i would hate to see it be canceled due to some uptight adults. its such a positive, beautiful show and its the best cartoon ive seen on tv in a while.

Because I'd like to see the gap between this and the anti-LGBT petition be as cartoonishly big as possible.

please don't censor this it's beautiful and shows kids there's nothing wrong or gross or evil about being gay or lesbian, which is a very positive thing! if you are taught it's a bad thing to be gay and you find out you are gay then that could lead to self hatred and depression in young teens that have to grow up with thinking they are a mistake. this show is telling those kids that they aren't mistakes for loving someone of their own gender. the show carries a "love is love" message, and the people who say that they don't want their kids to watch this and become gay need to shut up because that's saying "i wouldn't love my kid if they were gay" which is an awful thing to do.

if you think you can erase homosexuality from your childerens lives then you need to look around. society is changing and you need to change to. i may not be a lesbian or a transgender bbut i suremas hell will promote it because its right.

theres no reason to remove something so harmless to your wellbeing all because of how you personally feel. it is not harming anyone.

People need to realize that times are changing and they need to accept that.

No more censoring LGBTQA+ relationships. Representation matters to all of us.

keep SU the way it is. its an amazing show and only wants to show sincere and real feelings that two beings can have between each other.

It makes me so angry that people can't just let us have this. We shouldn't have to hide this from kids

this is probably one of the first romantic relationships between two women (even though they're technically genderless) on a kids show without any disgust from either of the characters. No, these two characters are in love and it shouldn't matter what gender they are. All of this is eventually going to be shown on television anyway, so why not accept the fact that this is happening now? I find it really special that they decided to show it on TV in the first place, it's even the way that I found out about the show and found a new love to it.
