Honestly, love is love. I'm actually disgusted that people would posses the audacity to want to censor this. The world is rapidly changing and we as the public are becoming more comfortable with same sex so I don't see why we can't see it in our television programs. Even though this is aimed at children, there's nothing overtly sexual or explicit so there's no real reason to censor it. Steven Universe is amazing and the manner in which hey address subjects like same sex relationships is done so well. This can't be silenced.

I think personally love is love. People should be allowed to love who ever they want. Plus on the crystal gem wiki they are technically genderless but they tend to look more like girls. So really nothing is wrong with this episode. I think it is important to let kids learn not to judge anyone. Children need to know to let them love whoever they choose.

I'm a 14-year-old probably-lesbian and I love this show so much. It's so important for kids to see representation like this!

why would you want to cancel steven universe? In my opinion the character development is amazing and everyone has their own challenges and I think it teaches kids a good lesson! and before the parents go ranting, they're gems, not humans. also they're classified as genderless, and "aliens" as some may call them. so homophobic parents, what's the point...? if they're neither a boy or a girl, but a gem..?

Doing this would be a step backwards in terms of progress, and having homosexual relationships (however vague they are) is actually in helping normalize something that can be very confusing without proper representation in all types of media, even children's shows.

The people who fear "exposing" their children to LGBT themes really just fear having to explain their own bigotry when their children come to them asking questions about sexual orientation. They want their children to be left ignorant so they can avoid an honest conversation, rather than discover their own identities through examples set by characters from lovely shows like Steven Universe. This show sets a fantastic example for children, and adults as well - everyone can learn something from the Gems.

Its completely stupid and childish how people get pissy over the LGBT community and their proper representations in the media. Its the 21st century. People are going to be who they want to, and no matter what you do, the love that people have for one another will always remain. The shows aren't brainwashing children, they're encouraging them to be who they want to be. Nobody in the LGBT community shows their love and affection for who they love to brainwash your kids into being gay, they do it because they love each other. Straight people kiss and have children all the time, how would you feel if we came up to you and shamed you for showing affection to the ones you loved and forced your shows off the air because they didn't pretain to our views? Seriously. Grow up. This ain't the 1800's.

I think it's really important to have LGBTQ+ representation in cartoons, even though the gems are genderless. It is important regardless. That fact alone has gotten me into the show way way more and I appreciate it very much. It's amazing. Kudos to the SU team.

This was a beautiful episode. There's no reason to censor this, people need to realize that homosexuality is normal. The fact that people want to censor this makes me angry.

I think the fact that this topic is even being brought up in this day and age is just ridiculous. Can't we just let the writers do their work and enjoy some television without all of this coming from it? So what if there's a lesbian relationship in a kids show, kids are developing human beings, and they're gonna be confronted with this eventually, and in a world where these kind of relationships will be commonplace, the last thing we want to teach children is to hold onto the faults of the previous generations and refuse change.

Keep it as it is, because the gems are a genderless race and I say leave it as it should be, I mean I have a book and I'm okay with this, so no changes in the show, because i get inspired by it, even between relationships among the characters.
