To be honest, I kinda expected parents to be upset about it because I know not everyone is so accepting but the fact that a petition is made and must be signed is totally unnecessary. If people have an opinion they should keep it to themselves. The fact that we have to sign a petition to keep it uncensored is ridiculous.

I love steven universe, and I've been with it since pilot. I just gotta say that we are in the 21st century, and we need to change our mindset. Stop being irrelevant and stupid. Steven universe is an AMAZING show! But if you can't handle a cute little peck, then just turn off the tv ya bum.

Oh my god yes! People are too ignorant to do their research, in which Rebecca Sugar herself stated that gems are gems, and they do not have genders, unlike Steven, who is the first and only gem with a gender. Like, Just because of their parenting, they're teaching their child to be against same sex relationships, even if what was displayed was non binary.
