by censoring an innocent scene like the one between Ruby and Sapphire is silly. kids are exposed to worse things then a kiss every day. yet, parents don't rise up in arms about the violence and heterosexual sex and kisses they see every day in TV shows.

the gems are supposed to be nonbinary/sexless anyways like what. just because they use female pronouns doesn't make it a lesbian relationship first off, and second, i can't believe people are actually getting THAT UPSET about a smooch on SU, people are brainwashing their kids!

honestly it really upsets me that people are all butthurt about a healthy relationship between two people but are fine with letting their kids watch other violent shows unflinchingly.

Kids need to learn that homosexuality is a common thing in life They need to become accustomed to it so they can live their lives without fear or prejudice of others. Representation for children who have two mothers or same sex parents. They need to know its ok. Besides, Steven Universe is not for small children, and even if it was they still wouldnt care about what gender the two gems are, even though they technically do not have a gender due to being gems. Seriously anyone who thinks its ok to ask to cencor these episodes need to just stop watching the show and not ruin it for people who enjoy it the way it is.

As someone is lesbian herself, as well as trangender, it's nice to see myself being represented. And it's nice to see that kids are too. I just wish I could've seen it was okay to be who I wanted when I was younger.
