As a queer person myself, it's very important to me that this stay uncensored. I know that when I was little, it would've helped me to understand and accept myself so much better if there had been things like this in the shows I watch. It gives me hope for humanity when I see things like this on kids' TV, and I think about little girls and boys and kids who aren't sure if they're either realizing that it's fine, that they can fall in love with people of whatever gender. These episodes are so important to stop children from hating themselves for things they can't help, things they should be proud of! This is so, so important. Please keep these on the air.

These scenes are very important to the story of Steven Universe as a whole. The reason for censoring the episodes is completely dumb and they should remain uncensored and on the air.

why would you censor this?? we have to accept that some people aren't straight okay? we have to keep doing this else children will grow up to never accept this just like the adults right now

Look, even if the gems had true gender and not just look like they do, Ruby and Sapphire clearly have a healthy relation as the two show great care for one another, so much so that Ruby cries with joy when with Sapphire again. Like, really? What is wrong with that? Nothing, that is what.

Lets say that there is a cute, sweet little scene where a boy and a girl reunite after being separated against their will. They laugh and hug and kiss each other, and it's no big deal right? Kids will benefit from seeing a loving scene like that, yeah? So why, I ask you, is it any different when the two individuals in question are not a boy and a girl? It isn't. It's still a scene showing a healthy, happy relationship between two people who love each other very much.

I don't watch Steven Universe, but this shouldn't be censored. It's love between two nonbinary characters who both happen to look female.
