What the episodes showed was that LOVE is so powerful that it can save the world and cause you to seemingly break your character. They showed that LOVE is something that stays with you forever, showed that LOVE can overcome even the most threatening of adversaries. LOVE is power, that is all the show said!! If people think that thats evil then we as a society need to reevaluate ourselves

the gems dont have a gender at all. its not same sex bc theres no bc theres no gender or sex in the equation.

This is rediculous that this petition even has to be created because some people are uncomfortable with homosexual relationships. There are plenty of shows with hetero couples and there are even some suggestive parts to then on Cartoon Network, so what's so wrong about this one?

The fact that today's society still needs to make petitions for such cases is just complete bullcrap why can't people just move on and allow a writers imagination run wild --' URGH I CANT BELIEVE CN ARE ACTUALLY TAKING THESE HATERS COMMENTS INTO CONSIDERATION love is love DEAL WITH IT!

this episode made me cry from pure happiness, to see love between two people so strong, regardless of gender (even though they are arent really classified as any gender at all!)

These episodes are important to children. It teaches love and how and how not to handle grief.
