People can't "turn gay." People who think this will influence their children are stupid, and I don't even know what they're afraid of. This planet is full of homophobic, idiotic assholes

Don't they see that this show brings a lot of happiness to those who watch it? Censoring it would only make it lose watchers because there wouldn't be those special moments between the gems that the older watchers will fawn over. I mean, people are making their own characters that are gems! Their gemsonas keep them attached to the show and increase their love for it. You'd have to be a fool to want to 'keep it clean'.

I would have loved representation like this when I was a kid. Besides, the relationships are cute. Homophobes can make their kids watch different cartoons if they want to shelter them so badly. Leave what we have alone, because we need it.

This should go without saying.

Kids need to see LGBTQA relationships in a good light when they are young.

I absolutely loved Jail Break and Roses Scabbard. Both episodes showed deep emotional bonds and devotion. Nothing about these episodes should be changed.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with either of these episodes.

LGBT representation lacks in media, so this is amazing for me and others in the community to see it in a show we enjoy. Explaining what a relationship between two woman is isn't going to destroy your child. Gay isn't a CHOICE. You child won't turn gay from watching a show with lesbians in it.

Honestly, I don't see what is so comepletely awful and damaging about a loving healthy relationship between two characters, gender or not it is gorgeous and that episode teaches kids that love is the strongest power, so honestly be thankful to Cartoon Network and the Steven Universe creators for making this happen

It's ridiculous that this is still one of the biggest arguments, that TV shows can "turn kids gay", treated like it's a bad thing, or that it can even happen. If you're afraid of your kids "turning gay" I think a TV show is the least of your problems.

It's hypocritical to say a loving healthy relationship should be censored. Should we just censor all romance in children's shows because kids don't care. They think all romance is "icky" bless their innocent hearts.

Let me know when humankind is ready to deal with what Nature designed for them and seeing it in fictional characters.

I watched plenty of straight couples on tv when I was little, but I'm still very gay.

I don't even watch the show, but we shouldn't censor LGBT relationships on TV, ever, especially if they're positive like these are from what I've seen.

you have to keep this televised! What about all the young kids out there who are lesbians or homosexuals and they think for the longest time that there's something wrong with them but then they see this and realize it's okay? That's incredibly important and we can't let small minded people ruin this.

Censoring these episodes would harm both the show and the representation that it offers to LGBTQA+ youth
