We need to keep 6th period for all the students. Student athletes need all the support they can get.

Please do not put this burden on athletes and their families. The current system has worked very well for our student athlete.

So they now want to focus more on their stupid deca program and deprive us of being good at a sport! Granada doesn't know how to run a god damn school

I totally agree and I think that okay first if this was done than yes it would cunfused the life out of my schedule and ruin it and I feel like it would knock off our classes needed and also people can't always stay after school or come earlier and I feel like that is a true unneeded pain, 1 PE or 1 activity :)

I am a two sport athlete having those counted as "after school activities" would be ridiculous for every athlete at GHCHS.

Most of us athoetes are exhausted already due to hard and busy schedules. Making this happen is a waste of time and will only affect us students in a negitive way.

Being an athlete myself, I know how exhausting it can be and making these athletes stay even longer after inschool in addition to PE AND in addition to their club sports outside of school as well as everything else they need to do in order to get into college like extracurriculars and service hours will be nearly impossible if you force these student athletes to take more time out of their day. It's already a HUGE challenge for an athlete to do homework as it is and this will make it so much harder. Sports teams at Granada won't win due to pure exhaustion and or not making grade requirements not only for high school, but for future plans such as college.

You can't do that to freshmen and sophomores. When you are in a sport, u have physical needs that have to be satisfied. Plus PE is horrible and the norms there always complain about being physical

I'm an athlete and I don't agree with this
