My 2 oldest boys leaned to swim because of Splashes and Smiles. I have a little one that is getting ready to start needing lessons. I'm a very nervous mom when it comes to swimming and only trust Splashes and Smiles to teach my children. PLEASE keep them at the Pomoano pool!!!!!!

Splashes and Smiles saves lives. Teaching children how to swim is the most important lesson you could give a child.

Both programs should be able to share the facility. I've had both my children on the Piranhas swim team for the last three years and have never seen or known a conflict to exist between Piranhas Team & Splashes/Smiles. If there's no competition, then why is there an issue? The city of pompano beach needs to support both for profit and non profit businesses.

Wonderful school with wonderful instructors!! They should not be forced out! My son is a great swimmer thanks to them and that is so important in general, but especially living in South Florida where we are surrounded by canals and most everyone has a pool! It's critical for our children!

Splashes and smiles is an excellent swim program with great one on one experiences. It would be unfortunate to be unable to continue swim lessons because of not having a location. My daughter is comfortable with her coaches and I would not send her to anyone else just for the location.

Keep Splashes and Smiles swim lessons at Pompano aquatic center. It is a wonderful program for our babies, toddlers to learn how to swim. I had my toddler attend this program at the pompano pool last summer and it didn't interfere with the Piranhas swim team. I also have a child on the priamhas swim team and they don't offer swim lessons for little kids. This is service we need in the community. If they are forced out, parents will have to go other cities for this critical service of learning how to swim.
Please don't force them to leave the city pool. We need Splashes and Smiles in Pompano.

Please vote to keep Splashes and Smiles in operation at the PBAC. They have taught my granddaughters to swim. Being a native of Florida, I know the importance of teaching children even at the age of 2 to swim. Drowning is a major cause of death in South Florida to small children and anything to prevent that should continue. In addition, why would the commission vote to lose rent on the PBAC and provide exclusivity (no voted on by the citizens) to one group. Please do not support the exclusivity provided by the Piranhas Swim team's contract. Please vote against the contract.

I believe that Samantha ' s work with kids is amazing, and she should be able to keep doing it.
We are all have the same goal, teach kids to swim and preventing more drowning.

As a tax payer here in the city of Pompano I believe we should have choices of who can teach our children to swim. By allowing ONE ORGANIZATION you are taking our freedom of choices away. I do not agree with what the city is doing! I am out of town for the summer, if I was here I would be at the meeting to help keep Splashes and Smiles!
