Please feel into how you would feel if you lost your child or grandchild or someone close to you lost their child from drowning. Look at the facts and feel into your heart, dont make others hearts be in pain from your decision. Thank you.

We love having options! A non-profit should not be competing with anyone. Elspecially if it is good for the community!!

Any program that benefits the community and has been operating for years should be allied to continue to bring revenue to our City.

This is outrageous! You would think a swim team would encourage children to learn how to swim! Shows a lot about their character.

This should not happen. The piranhas are bullying their way through this. Not fair and unacceptable!

Why would limit children learning how to swim from anyone??? These ppl are amazing... We need more lessons not less.

I have worked alongside both Splashes and Smiles Swim School and Pompano Beach Piranhas for over 7 years, the two programs have operated without incident throughout that time. This is unnecessary. Citing competition is a fallacy. Splashes and Smiles is learn-to-swim and water safety not competitive swimming and stroke development. Drowning prevention through learn-to-swim programs like this is a vital service to our community. They pay their dues, and have their right to be there.
