This Social Security office is vital to the Apache Junction community. Why move to Gilbert and pay higher rent/building costs and inconvenience people who need it the most.

Gilbert is a thriving city and Apache Junction has more retired and low income families than Gilbert . Apache Junction have a greater need of the Social SecurityAdministration than Gilbert. Many people would have trouble getting to Gilbert and then find themselves no place to park once they get there. It would be wrong to put these people of more needs in a difficult situation.

The taxpayers of Apache Junction want the Social Security Administration to stay in Apache Junction. There are plenty of residents year round to warrant this request.

Please keep the Apache Junction SSA office, it is a valuable resource to the surrounding areas that would have difficulty traveling to a location in Gilbert.

Please do not close the Apache Junction office. They are building many new neighborhoods around this area. Gilbert is a long drive for many.

Makes no sense to move this service out of a place that has the greatest need.

Please keep the Social Security Office in Apache Junction. Higher rent in Gilbert is an issue, but moving it 20 miles away from the local need in Apache Junction creates a burden to those who have been using that office for years. Check the demographics on clientele and transportation accessibility. AJ SSA is needed. The aging populous of the AJ area is much more conducive in serving the SSA population where it is versus the younger groups of Gilbert.

Please keep the Apache Junction SS office open. It serves a large population of senior citizens who would have a hard time traveling 20 miles to a Gilbert office.
