The bureaucrats finally backed down and agreed to keep the Social Security office right here in Apache Junction. This is what happens when we refuse to let them push our community around. Stay sharp because we need to make sure they actually follow through on this promise.
The bureaucrats at the Social Security Administration think they can force our seniors to travel twenty miles for basic services without us saying a word. We are about to hit one hundred signatures so let's push this over the edge right now to show them we are not going anywhere.

I am a senior citizen and Vietnam Veteran. I reside in Gold Canyon and need the office in AJ to remain open. I do not have accessibility or know how to operate a computer. Personal interaction is important when dealing with social security issues - thank you.

Please keep the Apache Jct. Az SSA office open. This office is closest for Queen Valley, Gold Canyon, Kearny Superior and Apache Junction residents. The congestion this will cause in the Gilbert and Mesa offices is one reason, no public transportation is another.

I am disabled and caring for a 81 year old mom with significant health issues now since the pandemic. The location where it’s at would simplify my life. The elders don’t need to travel unnecessarily and fret trying to find rides etc . Thanks in Advance.

One quarter of AJ population is seniors, we have a thriving senior population and we probably will only grow that number in the future. I know you cannot have an SS office in every city, but it makes sense here. There has to be a better solution to this.

The SS office in Apache Junction provides service to a large number of residents. With the increase in gas prices moving the office 20 miles away not only causes an inconvenience but a financial burden for seniors on fixed income
