This move will cause a great deal of hardship for many in our community. We have a large number of elderly residents who are unable to drive long distances or even to drive at all. Moving this office will disenfranchise many in Apache Junction, Gold Canyom and further east.

The age profile of this community is such that the presence of this office in AJ is vital to serving those dependent on SSA.

Please, do not close the Social Security office in Apache Junction, AZ. It is needed in this area not in Gilbert.

After living in Pinal country for 33 years, I am finally approaching age 65 in a few months. We need this office.

Please keep the Apache Junction office open. We have so many seniors in and around our community, and we are growing more south. It does not make sense to open a new office in Gilbert when we have a better location and parking is easy. If you need to close an office to open the gilbert one, how about the closing the Mesa Office? It is closest to gilbert and won't have as much as an impact.

Population of seniors is increasing at a rapid rate in AJ. Please keep easy access for those seniors moving to the community. Gilbert has a higher financial base than AJ and thus it is easier for Gilbert seniors to access SSA services. Many AJ residents are financially challenged and relocation of SSA will not only be inconvenient but increase time and expense for access.

Why remove this service from apache jct. . It has been a blessing for many people in AJ , Gold Canyon etc.. We really need to keep the office here .

It is convenient when you do need it. When my husband or I went for any reason there has always been a wait. If added to Gilbert, the wait would be longer.

We need the Social Security office in Apache Junction for the high number of senior citizens in our area who would have trouble going out of the area.
Please keep this location open. We need it.
