This facility is critical to so many people in the area, it needs to remain here in Apache Junction.

Without public transportation for the
residents of Apache Junction to a location 20-some miles away I feel like we don't count enough to have an office available to us.
I question the rational to spend an additional amount of money to open a Social Security office six miles away from an already existing office.

Please don’t move SS office to Gilbert. The majority of people who use it live closer to AJ & the building was recently remodeled so don’t waste any more tax dollars-use the money to help the people in need instead.

I am 74 years old, and the Social Security office in Apache Junction is a perfect location for me as it close to where I live. Moving it to Gilbert where there are mostly younger people is not serving the needs of the retirement community. We are the ones that need the SS office nearby.

This is a "essential" part of the Apache Junction, San Tan Valley, Queen Creek, Gold Canyon, and surrounding 20 miles.... Enough of the moving all neccesary services to Gilbert! Take care of the population it has been serving so well. Remember if it is not broke do not fix it.
