I know of Silke through my involvement in the Gigatown competition which Nelson almost won! I support her desire for herself and her family to continue living here and contributing to our community in ways that Immigration NZ doesn't seem to count.

Immigration NZ - you need to revise your laws - too many of these stories NATIONAL GOVERNMENT! We need honest, hardworking people in this country. People who have a desire to help in communities, and raise their families. Why is the motive always about having a large amount of money to stay in New Zealand. These are people who are supporting themselves. Please let them stay here.

This women, Mother, Kiwi, and friend too many is what makes NZ such a great place! There are people, like Silke, who come to this country and make a difference. C'mon Immigration, sort your sh%t out! Instead of wasting valuable time and resources on kicking people out - talk to them in a non-bureaucratic fashion and see why they want to stay. It might just be worth your time.

This is unfair, we allow people in here with less community values yet she is a person who has and is doing good for the community which can only benefit . Wake up New Zealand,

How in God's name can it be in the country's best interests to throw this useful, productive, enterprising woman out of NZ ?

I guess there is no avenue in the rules to apply intelligence to the decision. Pity really, we need qualified well mannered people willing to work and who speak English. Are there better quals?

I hope the government pull through for you! We should be all for keeping people like yourself in this country, not getting rid of them! All the best

it seems to be inappropriate to ask people, who have a long term business plan and are actively supporting the local community, to leave when so many entered NZ just on the merit of helping with the Rebuild but no necessarily guaranteed employment afterwards

Silke, Sakshin and Gabriel are wonderful community members and deserve to live in their home :)

What an asset to the community. The people wanting to deport you must be mad! I hope you and your family get to stay.

Their project with the Buckthorn seems like one of a kind and really interesting. Give the a ( long term!) chance!
