Keep Silke, Sakshin and Gabriel in New Zealand

It is obvious that Silke Larsen has a multitude of specific skills which will be of great benefit for New Zealand and its inhabitants. They should be granted permanent residency.

Please grant Silke Larsen and her family permanent residency in New Zealand and allow them to stay in New Zealand. My son risks not being able to continue his life changing experience with the Victory wifi project, that only Silke has been supporting with her unique range of skills. Gus has gained so much through this project, and all those gains will be lost if it cannot be completed due to losing Silke. Please grant Silke and her family residency and allow them to stay for their contribution to our community in Nelson. Silke is exactly the sort of person who brings much needed skills and personal qualities. I know my son, Gus, has personally benefited to an enormous extend, so please don't let NZ miss out on valuable new citizens such as Silke Larsen and her family.

Silke's sense of community and willingness to get things started does the local area good. It would be a damned shame to see her go.

They inspire and support many people. They have integrity and are heart centred,an have a deep understanding of what the soil an community are needing, a great asset to nz , I wish them all the best

Silke contributes a lot to our community and with their energy and innovation she and Sakshin will contribute a lot more in the future.

New zealand is their home....let them stay.

I would like to petition the government to allow Silke to remain in New Zealand indefinitely. Having been involved in several community projects she has become a great asset to Nelson and New Zealand. Her family are settled here and it would be a great loss for the community for her to be evicted.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Silke and her whole family since they first came to New Zealand I watched her fall in love with it, and then go through the major process of moving here from Denmark. I know that this wasn't the easiest choice she could've made, but it was definatley the one her heart was called to do. People who follow their heart in this way are an inspiration and incredible asset to not only our young but all of society. Silkes contribution to the top of the South has been immense and I urge the New Zealand immigration services to listen to the voices of the people who will affected by by the loss of Silke from our community.

Sea buckthorn, innovative, essential new bio diverse industry. Need for innovative, skilled, dedicated, entrepreneurs high on NZ's list of must haves gets my absolute vote of support for this couple/family's continued residency in NZ, *

OMG how can our NZ government deport such talent in many diverse areas some of which is very specialised. These people contribute so much to our community

Silke makes a very valuable contribution to our community. We need people like Silke in New Zealand!

I request that Silke and her family be granted permanent residency in new Zealand. I have had some involvement with Silke in her technology work in the Nelson Victory area. Her vision, knowledge and drive to have this important project succeed are impressive. I have no doubt that without her this project would struggle and flounder. Silke is a rare type of person who gives endlessly of herself and has a passionate desire to see the people and community around her become better, and grow stronger. She has a unique set of skills which provide much to the community and the country, and I strongly urge you to allow her and her family to stay in New Zealand.

I have known Silke for about a year and she is a very smart, giving person. I feel she has a lot to offer the Nelson community with her life experiences and knowledge. She is fully involved in the wider community of Nelson, helping out and offering support. I fully believe that Silke and her family should be offered full permanent residency here in New Zealand and allow them the chance to contribute back with their growing sea buckthorn berry industry.

Silke is a mindful, skilled, highly creative and worthy human being who is a clear asset to any country she is in. She and her family have created a home and a health giving orchard in New Zealand. They have ties to the land, to people, to everything they've lived and created in NZ. Her son has spent the majority of his life there and is about to complete a schooling cycle there. I know how important a home is. They have made a home there, improving the land. What they are offering is good for NZ, for all concerned. Please let this worthy and thoughtful family remain in NZ, enriching it.

Silke is a valuable asset to any country she lives in. With her enthusiastic and passionate way of being she is able to move mountains and get things done. In the Top of the South she is actively involved in positive initiatives in the educational sector as well as establishing a sustainable sea buckthorn orchard in Wakefield with the potential to become a thriving export product. Please reconsider your decision and allow her and her family to stay in New Zealand. Thank you.

I knew both Silke and Sakshin in Denmark. Any community or country who is fortunate to ahve creative people like these is blessed. It is also a shame to uproot them after 6 years of investing in New Zealand, their eco system and the community of which they are a part. very short sighted to do so!
