There will be long term financial, civic and environmental gains for New Zealand should these kind, caring, positive people be allowed to stay. New Zealand has so much to lose should they be forced to leave and everything to gain should they be given permanent immigration status.

It makes absolutely no sense to prevent the Larsen family from continuing to contribute even more to New Zealand and their immediate community.

I request that Silke Larsen and her family are granted permanent residency in New Zealand now and are allowed to stay in New Zealand. As huge unconditional contributors to the local community and contribution to the health of the local soil and production of food it would be a loss to New Zealand if Silke and her family were to leave. Please help them gain permanent residency in Aotearoa. Many thanks. Emily Whinney

Why would you ask this family to leave our NZ, when there are MANY other families that come here to use our benefit system and do not have the wholesome values of these people?

Silke has given up a lot of her free time to contribute to our local community here in Nelson, she has been a role model to many youth and has worked on some hugely beneficial community projects. With out a doubt she would be greatly missed.

Sea buckthorn is a very valuable superfood but not the easiest plant to care for. The work that Silke and Sakshin do in this field will increase the health and well-being of many. Is that not worth something?

Silke has been a tireless worker for the local community and the family is held in very high esteem by the Nelson/Tasman community. they have proved their worth to New Zealand many times and are proven hard workers. Please show some compassion to this family and to Gabriel who has spent most of his life in New Zealand.

I have worked closely with Silke during the GogatownNelson campaign and also in the democratic education arena. Silke has a great deal to contribute to Nelson and New Zealand and has very clearly demonstrated her commitment to the community.

We need more people like Silke and her family, we should be encouraging people like this to move to New Zealand. What a wonderful assest they are to the world, it would be a great loss to New Zealand if they had to leave.
