I have worked with Silke over the past year on the Nelson Tasman digital enablement plan. She is just the sort of intelligent, community focussed, socially active person we need in NEW Zealand, now and over the long haul. I am an immigrant myself, arriving from Canada in 1976 with my family, and have lived, worked, and raised my family in New Zealand for 40 years. Happily I am a NZ citizen, as are my children. I would like you to give Silke and her family a similar opportunity. NZ will be the better for it. I strongly support Silke's application for permanent residency for herself and her family.

Sakshin and Silke are incredible farmers. They offer food to the country of New Zealand. Had the pleasure of staying with them a few years ago and was touched by their family's kindness and playfulness.
I request that Silke Larsen and her family are granted permanent residency in New Zealand immediately and are allowed to stay in New Zealand.

As a citizen of NZ I request that Immigration allows this family to stay in NZ. Please consider the continuing contribution they are qualified to give to NZ.

I am so shocked that you are not already welcomed into this country by Immigration New Zealand. I fully support your permanent residency knowing that you have already offered a lot to your community and will continue to do so. Fingers crossed that all the boxes will get ticked. Sending you strength and trust during this process.

These guys are important contributors to the Nelson community and would be greatly missed if they are forced to leave. Please let them stay in New Zealand.

Silke and Sakshin are an asset to NZ and we do not want to lose them who are incredibly talented, skilled, educated, informed, and well-loved by their friends who have visited their gorgeous property. They love their community dearly, have spent lots of time, energy, and love to improve the conditions of the community. One of the most gorgeous families I have ever known.

It is ridiculous that you want to expel this Family from NZ, when they have contributed so much to the community & country, and obviously have so much more to contribute.
You are ripping their life apart & causing them so much unnecessary distress. Give them PR, let them stay.

This is the sort of family we should be welcoming to our country. Hard working and contributing to the community they live in.

Silke is one of a precious few individuals feeding energy and ideas into the local Nelson/Tasman entrepreneurial scene. Since the region is not exactly bursting with technological innovation, but could greatly benefit from having more of it, it would be a shame to lose her and her experience and support.

Silke has been a driving force in much of the work required to get momentum for the digital transformation of the Nelson / Tasman region. She has always been keen to contribute and has lots of ideas to share. She and her family are the sort of people we need in New Zealand and we are very lucky that they decided on making Nelson / Tasman region their home.
