Silke is a force in our community! Her passion and drive to make positive change is noticeable in all her community projects. I have personally worked with Silke on an education project for empowering young people. Her commitment for supporting a nurturing community is admirable. Her son Gabriel is a dear friend of our family, particularly of my son. He has shared his experiences and knowledge and we want this to continue! Please consider all she does for our region. This family is an asset!

Silke contributes enormously to the community and to the future of NZ. I worked alongside her in the Gigatown Project and she has continues to bring her extensive skills and experience to this important growth area. Her and her family also share invaluable horticultural experience and are working on a break through market for NZ. I sincerely request that Silke Larsen and her family are granted permanent residency in NZ now. If this is not done we risk losing a family who can significantly influence a prosperous and inspiring NZ.

Please help Silks and Sakshin stay in NZ. NZ needs good people who get in behind their community to help it grow.

Silke is an awesome asset to our community in Nelson, she helps organise and run community events, helps with growing the entrepreneurial scene in Nelson and is very active in the Nelson region. It would be a shame to loose her and it would be a great loss for the region.

Silke is a great community-builder and enthusiastic collaborator. She brings great energy to the projects she is involved with in the Nelson region. She has a lot to offer and has a positive impact on the wider community through the projects she is involved with.

your local mp Nick smith(, although he is not my cup of tea, ) is very media orientated, if you can manage to get him to support you, perhaps a story in the Nelson Mail, you will be allowed to stay.God luck.

Please let this hardworking family stay in New Zealand. Silke and Sakshin are very skilled and versatile people and have worked extremely hard to build a sustainable lifestyle here and have contributed greatly in many ways to the local community. NZ needs people like this!! if allowed to grow their sea buckthorn orchard has great potential to become a real export industry for NZ and an employer for local workers as the oil is a highly prized cosmetic product , especially in Europe and the berries are considered a Superfood, ...the superfood industry is expanding rapidly at present....please let these good people continue the valuable work they have started and especially don't rip their child away from home and friends....

It seems to be extremely short sighted to give the boot to Ph.d.s even if she doesn't fit your 'catagories'. This is the intellectual wealth of a nation that you are eliminating.

Silke has been a beacon of light in the Tasman Bay area. She is a wonderful networker and has brought many like-minded people together to share food, friendship and meditation. She is a positive change agent within the community and so worthy of permanent residency. She's a keeper!
