There are lots of tennis court options in East Nashville but no other wheel sport options. Don't take this one away!

Played tennis at Shelby since 2006. Always a court free. Kids on scooters and bikes on the red court every weekend.

This is a great idea!! The enclosed, paved, flat space is excellent for the the little kids.

Council Members, LISTEN to the PEOPLE for ONCE. They are usually right. And they certainly are in this instance. You just want to spend OUR money and hope it buys you a vote.

I use the tennis courts regularly with my family. It makes sense to me to have one additional and maintain a space for roller hockey, etc. young people need a safe place to play outside. I've never had to wait for a tennis court.

We are the last home on Shelby Avenue across the street from the courts you are wanting to change. We love how the activities and the way the courts are being used by the skaters, scooters, hockey, baseball, etc. It is supporting activities that are so good to the community There's space for everyone's enjoyment...please keep 1/2 of the court for these additional activities

When you think about how many players are engaged in hockey compared to tennis and the fact that we play hockey year round, reinforces the idea that public spaces should remain inclusive for everybody.

A multi-use court is a valuable piece of our community. Metro Parks should share the use data that led them to the decision to add tennis courts.

This park is a great source for our neighborhood to continue to thrive. We need to be thinking about expanding its services as our neighborhood evolves and provide a great place for kids....which there are a lot of within the community. Share the court, please!
