Final supporters
Today on July 18,2016 our beloved Imam at the Mosque Of Nasreen was let go.He was not given a good reason why and he's too much of an asset to be let go.He has brought peace to our community and continues to spread positivity outside of our community.I'm asking of everyone to sign this petition in hopes of passing this to the Mosque Board and have them reverse their decision.It is encouraged for everyone to sign whether you are part of the community or outside of the community.Everyones support is needed during this time of hardship

The response to this has been overwhelming and honestly more than I anticipated. It is exhausting to fight for this, but seeing how many of you value his leadership reminds me why we cannot back down.

Sh. Mus'ab has been a great asset to the entire communitu, specially the students attending SLO. He changed my son too much. He has been his mentor, friend and role model. Please keep Sh. Musuab and don't deprive the community from it's most valuable asset.
If you can't have tolerance for a young moderate imam that is very knowledgeable who tries to respect everyone and all religions (Christianity and Judaism), then you seriously need to evaluate your faith. I only knew this man for a short time, and I felt incredibly welcomed by him.
I don't live in SLO but I've honestly thought of moving there just so I have the blessing of going to that masjid every day. Mus'ab has made that place into a safe and positive environment. His lectures and advice have always been worth hearing. I'd be very disappointed if he is no longer imam.
I sincerely pray that you reconsider and keep Imam Mus'ab at the San Luis Obispo Mosque. He has been working hard to build the community relations with love and grace. I also see what a great example he is for the young men at the Mosque. Please bring Imam Mus'ab back to the Mosque to share his passion with all.
The reason I came to the mosque was for my father. The reason I wanted to go back was because of Mus'ab. He inspired me with his message and captivated me to want to learn more. I promise you if he does leave I will NEVER come back!

Letting go of imam Mus'ab is silly. He's been an incredible mentor for many of my friends and offers wisdom with only his presence. Reconsider the decision, or this might instill no confidence in the Mosque's board of directors.
