RV Youth Football has taught my son Aiden everything he knows! It's an excellent program he started when he was in kindergarten. His goal is to be drafted with the NFL one day. The amazing coaches, mentors, and everyone involved with this program are responsible for turning him into this amazing football player he is. It has taught him sportsman like conduct, safety, determination, hard work, compassion, setting and acheving goals, and what it takes to be a part of a team. Such a great program I could honestly go on and on about how this program has benefited my son and made him into this very talented, well rounded football player he is today.

Sports very important to children lessons that you don’t get at Schools and some parents. Do not stop kids from playing Football.

It is so essential for our youth and young men to have this sport. From being a once cheerleader/ dance team and having brothers that played football and best friends to now havit a son of my own, who is only 2yo, don't take this away from the youth. Teenage years are hard enough to handle and if we can keep as MANY sports and extra curricular activities (SPORT'S) the better the kids turn out- who mind you will be the generation who runs this country and we depend on! Having an outlet, and somewhere our youth go that they genuinely appreciate and love keeps them 1st, not doing something else out of boardom. Which we all know is the start of a bad oath for a teenager. This is when they are really becoming and building the core of who / the men they will become. Having football (which is our country's #1 ranked sport... NFL, Superbowl....us not just a game for these young and growing teens. Football build's camaraderie, self discipline, self value, being needed, a wonderful workout leadership, and also working as a whole with others...every single thing that kids and teens can then build soon going forward and apply in daily life as an adult. I cannot express my thoughts enough on this subject and am surprised it's even a debate. It's great for our youth, brings the school and city money which I know is always needed. Keep this team alive and going!

Keep flag football! It keeps kids out of trouble and doing something active!

It makes more sense for the flag football league to not operate at the same time as the Contact football season for interested but not yet determined if there is an adequate level of enjoyment in participating in contact football and it's many commitments.

I’ve personally seen the growth emotionally, mentally and physically with my own son since he’s been in the youth program for 5 years now. He absolutely loves it and we would be literally devastated if they took it away from us. How can we let this happen to our youth?

This program was so amazing for my son when he played. He grew so much as a teammate and a player at a young age. Loved that this was an option for him. And I would recommend and encourage any young athlete to participate

Don’t make kids choose! Give them separate seasons

All of my boys played when they were young and I saw the pride for RV developers and they had more self-esteem.

I agree with both types of sports and agreed to this well satated statement in having them at two different times to where they don't interfere with each other type of sport season. One sport should not cut the other out as some kids will lose the opportunity in playing either sport as they choose or love to play.

We are from Show Low. We have been involved in youth football for 11 years now. Its one of our favorite seasons. Not only would doing away with RV youth tackle football effect RV it will effect us ALL on the mountain. We only have limited teams to play as it is. SL does have flag football. It ends right before tackle starts or shortly after. It doesn't conflict with our youth program that way. We have many kids who play both because they don't have to choose one or the other. My boys have made some of their best friends thru this sport. Some of the best coaches who have made an impact in their lives have come from football as well. Its all around a good program. It would be a shame to lose it.
