Keep RV Football

I'm all for the youth football team, not just for my nephew but for all the kids who love it! Why take away something they love, that will leave them nothing to do in rv. It's better to keep stuff going and try doing fund raisers, bake sales, carnivals, car washes ect... to have the kids help and raise some money and learn some responsibility. I think the rvyfbl would be an amazing experience for young boys and teachs them how to play and that it's not always about winning but having fun!

Keep it. We spent 7 years in the football league and in those 7 years we have never seen any serious injuries. I saw more damage and broken bones at the skate park than on that field. I understand parents concerns, but the league is fully trained not only in concussion protocol but safe tackles, proper placement, correct stances, and it teaches great sportsmanship. I assure you, you will see more injury in baseball games. I've seen it. At the age level these kids enter into it they dont have enough weight or aggression to hurt each other. Flag football is fun, and should be considered, but not during the time when contact football is going. We have seen how it has molded our kids into team players, it keeps them focused because they hold them up to school standards. We live in a small community with very little activities to keep our youth busy. I've seen the love of this game with alot of the kids and they look forward to football season. I've enjoyed watching my kids and others as well, grow with this sport.

We have played youth football for 10 years straight. My boys have loved it and will continue to play. Flag football in the off season is the only way we will play.

I’ve coached in this league for 4 years now never had a kid injured besides bumps and bruises. All our season ending injuries come from skate park, trampolines .If you teach the kids the right techniques they will be fine. On another note we teach boys in this league to work hard and try to make them better young men for the community.

There is no reason why the flag football can't be held at a different time than tackle. Unfortunately, there are those in the community that have only self interests to serve rather that what is best for all of the kids. Additionally, my tax dollars should not be used to pay for insurance for a football league that benefits only those who play.

Flag football may be beneficial for the mighty mights .... As for the Juniors and minors this would set our kids behind for junior high and high school football. If you want to play flag football at this age then maybe you should consider playing soccer

My boys have played tackle football since first grade. And it's been an amazing experience for the whole family. We have never had an injury in 9 years of playing. My older boy is now the starting QB in 7th grade. My girls also do cheer and love cheering for their brothers.

Keep the league as it is

Its a great activity for a kid. Teaches team work, teaches discipline. Teaches respect, teaches sportsmanship.

Tackle football is a staple for my boys, they look forward to it every year. It teaches them so much. Neither of them want to play unless its tackle. We trust our coaching staff to ensure they trach them the proper techniques and to not het hurt. We cant loose tackle football.

I think our community could benefit from both flag and tackle. My boys have loved tackle and I've felt the coaches have always looked out for their safety.

They don’t have flag football in the higher leagues... why would we do away with the tackle football?

Tackle football has been amazing for my son! There is room for both tackle and flag football. Having flag football during the tackle off season would be benificial to everyone!

I just want to say youth tackle football has helped my son in more ways than I can explain. We live in Showlow and we love our youth tackle football program and we want to see roundvalley stay so please
