As a proud Ulsterman I can only show my utter dismay at this decision. Ruan is part of the reason why so many kids in the country now want to play rugby. So this undoes all the progress made. Ulster till I die.

Ruan and his family have made a life for themselves in Ulster. It is shameful that due to some suit in charge of random regulations that he is not being allowed to see out the end of his playing career where he is happy and settled.
