With unemployment rates being at an all time low, you will hard pressed to find drivers and on top of that you are getting rid of a man who cares about every single student that gets on his bus. HE makes sure that the students stay safe and are cared for away from home, this important when running a business like a university. BGSU, try to be loyal to those that have loyal to you.

Rich is a part of BGSU. I met him my freshman year of college. It was Halloween night and I left my purse on the bus. He called around to all the buses telling them to look out for it and he picked it up for me

College is stressful enough. It is all the more important to have a familiar face reassuring you that you are meant to succeed and you are capable of doing so at BG. Mr. Rich did that for people, it is BG’s duty to its students to maintain a faculty and staff who embody his devotion. BG can do that by allowing him to remain the example he has been.

Rich is by far one of my most memorable memories at BGSU. He made riding the bus exciting and was always outgoing. I cannot count the number of times that he has turned my day around from a bad one to a good one. He always takes the time to reach out and see how everything is going as well even when I have been gone for 5 years. Not only is he a living example of what it means to be a falcon but he is like a family member to me. He always came out to rugby events and supported every aspect of BGSU in any way possible. Please let rich keep his job and keep spreading cheer to college kids.

Rich was a bright light during my college career and it would be so sad and horrible for Bowling Green University to not have him as an employee so he can be there for students going forward!
