Rich always cared to ask how classes were going, what I was up to, and would talk sports with me as I road around. Outsourcing or not, you’re losing one of the kindest most genuine employees and it’s deplorable that the students care more than the university. How can you say BGSU is about creating a community when we continually push out people who’ve supported and been with our community longest?

Mr. Rich was one of the best parts of my bg experience. He was always friendly and offered good conversation and a smile each ride. He really cared and kept in touch with me beyond graduation. I'm sure he cared about many other students just the same. He should be shown much more appreciation than to be dismissed this way.

Rich is truly BG’s hardest working employee that genuinely has love for the students. I’ve been gone 14yrs and we keep in touch. Furthermore outsourcing is ridiculous and ultimately damaging to your staff morale and productivity.

Some things are better when they stay the same. Rich is someone who helped shape my experience at BG. He was always kind and supportive during shuttle rides. He remains that way ten years later. It would be a huge mistake to rob others from the experience of this kind man. KEEP SHUTTLE DRIVER RICH!!!!!!!
