Rich is a part of BGSU. I met him my freshman year of college. It was Halloween night and I left my purse on the bus. He called around to all the buses telling them to look out for it and he picked it up for me
Rich is truly BG’s hardest working employee that genuinely has love for the students. I’ve been gone 14yrs and we keep in touch. Furthermore outsourcing is ridiculous and ultimately damaging to your staff morale and productivity.
Rich was always so supportive of me during my time at BGSU and I would hate to see him not be able to share his love and support for BGSU with other students! Rich would even drive 3 hours one way during his free time/days off to watch our team compete and to cheer us on
Rich is very a positive and pleasant guy and I would hate to see him leave. BGSU needs people like him around. 15 years he has been here uplifting and encouraging students and we would like another 15 years to go.
Rich is the heart of BGSU! There were days I was stuggling to get through the day, seeing his smiling face and knowing he could remember my name like all the other students he saw everyday made all the difference. Let him keep the job he loves!

My nephew was in Leadership program and knows about impact and all the things that contribute to academic, athletic and institutional success and reputation. It would seem that Rich is one of them.

The first time I met Rich we became friends. That’s how it was with everyone. He never forgot a face or a name & he was always friendly! He even tells me happy birthday via facebook every year & I haven’t been to BG in 2 years. The best bus driver ever!
