No banks or building societies left in Rhiwbina. So sad

I have used this branch for 25 years. While there is a bus service to Whitchurch it is not frequent, and parking in both Whitchurch and Llanishen is not brilliant for the bank. If Whitchurch branch were closed there are still three banks in the village.

What a way to treat all Nat. West's customers who have been so loyal to the bank for so many years. It's a good job that we still have Barclay's in Llanishen (with reduced opening times), Whitchurch and Birchgrove. If Nat. West will not support you then think about changing to Barclay's

I regularly use this branch and feel that closure would damage the village. Many older people rely on the face to face services a bank branch provides.

You should remember the large sums of money invested by your Rhiwbina customers in Natwest on which you make money

Internet banking is all well and good but you cant pay cash and cheques into a computer or chat with a human being when you need help with a question. There are no other banks or post office in Rhiwbina village so we will have to travel to either Llanishen or Whitchurch , (who also have other local banks and a post office )Non-drivers like myself and elderly residents will have to rely on people taking them. This is not satisfactory ! Please re-think this closure.

I'm very unhappy about this . This branch is always busy . And I've noticed they have been putting on more staff because of this. If the branch closes I will need to think about changing banks.

We would also hate to see this branch close. Not only do 4 members of my household bank with NatWest because we wanted a bank with a local branch were we could actually do our banking face to face, with friendly professional staff. Seems mad as this bank is ALWAYS busy!!!

Would hate to see this branch close, friendly staff, and easier to park nearby than the other alternatives.

We have used this branch for over 40 years and find dealing face to face and locally a friendly and convenient way to conduct our financial affairs.

The bank seems unable to see beyone its profits. Grante that they would not run a branch at a loss they should be prepared to run it as a profit neutral local service

Natwest in Rhiwbina Village is vitally important to many. We've supported you for years by banking with you, don't repay us by closing our local branch.

To close Rhiwbina branch would be most inconvenient to ourselves as we use the branch for our business purposes and we also use the branch as individuals. Surely, as Rhiwbina has a number of elderly residents this decision will have a major impact upon them. Lets hope Natwest will reconsider this decision.

shame to close it. why have we got to travel to do our banking whilst customers at llanishen and whitchurch are not inconvenienced and unlike rhiwbina still have post offices so they could do their banking there as Nat west are suggesting we do. please take note that getting to llanishen and whitchurch is not easy unless you have transport.

I'm paying cheques in about once a week and it's always busy when I call. Helpful and friendly staff. They did have a community notice board but that was removed, now they want to take away the bank. This demonstrates contempt for the community. If this branch closes it will be a great loss to Rhiwbina.

Please do not close the bank. It supports many of the residents of Rhiwbina

I don't know who's recording the footfall at NatWest Rhiwbina. I go into the bank at least once a week (3 times this week!) and it's always busy. The letter I received yesterday telling me I could use The Post Office for certain transactions was not helpful as our local post office was closed 7 or 8 years ago and the nearest one is no nearer than the alternative bank branch. I don't suppose NatWest is short of a penny or two. Maybe they should put something back into local communities after all the problems they caused in 2008.
