I've banked at Nat west rhiwbina branch for 48 years. Due to eyesight problems I cannot use cashpoints. Nat west is the only bank left in the village so there will be no bank, building society of post office. There is no direct bus to Llanishen and they've greatly reduced the bus service to whitchurch

I support adults with a learning disability and mobility problems as well as behaviours that challenge. There are a number of our service users who use this branch. We can't use Whitchurch because of bad pavements, our option then is to use Llanishen with bad parking and the traffic. Loosing this branch will be a sad thing for a commumity

Friendly and efficient and they also support community events by generously providing raffle prizes which raises funds for rhiwbina to host 2 events each year that enables the community to come together, showcases all of the businesses including the independents plus brings people to our village too. Everyone would miss the bank and its staff

Another example of Rhiwbina being ignored, and in this case being left bereft of financial institutions

The branch should stay open at all costs and I do not believe that the bank has a credible reason to close it. As we supported RBS in its hour of need they should now return some of that trust and re-consider their intentions

Communities/suburbs/villages- all need local amenities or they will die.

This branch is all that rhiwbina has left and yet the powers to be are thinking about their pockets yet again and not caring about the lovely locals of rhiwbina. This is a disgrace and the simple attitude of 'you'll have to manage' is simply not good enough any more.

I am extremely worried for the needs of the growing elderly community locally.

No Post Office, no Building Society and now our one and only bank is to go. Unbelievable. Good luck Jayne.

Absolute disgrace, not everyone uses on line banking and it is the last bank standing in Rhiwbina.

We have used this branch for years. it is a vital part of our community, there are no other banks, building societies or post offices in the village. Please don't remove an essential service

I don't particularly want to pay my car tax in a sweet shop! I don't want to be in long waiting lines to conduct business or get help from the staff in front of all the other shoppers paying their paper bills, etc!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, AS ALWAYS, for the support given to the local community!

A vital service is once again being closed through no fault of our own.Once again people of Rhiwbina and the surrounding community are being persecuted. Please DO NOT CLOSE IT

have lived in Rhiwbina for 30+ years and have seen several banks and the post office lost to us, i thought that Natwest had enough customer base to survive.

I use this bank on a daily basis for business banking. There is no other bank or post office within walking distance. It will make life very difficult for members of staff who do not drive to do our banking.

I've got disability problems and this branch is the only one I know of who has a private carpark at the rear where friends park whilst I hobble in to do my banking!! Whitchurch branch is a no-no for being dropped off and Llanishen is bearable if people realise im trying to get out of the car before my friend drives on to find somewhere to park!! The staff in Rhiwbina are also so courteous and friendly and are a credit to NatWest, so come on NatWest Management please have a re-think on cutting costs some other way and keep this branch open for business!!

Going to alternative branches of Nat. West requires a vehicle and Rhiwbina has a lot of elderly residents who don't drive.
